“The session opened with a flashback to Kaarl Korvax being teleported mid-briefing to a hellish corporate compliance seminar run by Frecks, a soul-crushingly boring devil bureaucrat, where Kaarl passed a combat assessment and received a mission update from Bellathor himself. Rejoining the party in Port Nyanzaru, the group navigated a rowdy night at the Thundering Lizard, where they encountered a very drunk Zindar the harbor master, shared a spicy nipple cocktail, and learned about the dangers of sea travel south. At dawn, the party reconvened with a sober Zindar, who warned them of pirate ships, sea monsters, and the dragon turtle Armag demanding 500 gold tolls, before offering a 50-gold river route as an alternative. En route to Golden Throne, the trio stopped a runaway ankylosaurus named Kuta — Thrain landing a nat-20 acrobatics jump onto the saddle while Kaarl used Thaumaturgy to boom the dinosaur's name and slow it down. At Golden Throne, Wakanga enchanted Thrain's pistol to +1 for 250 gold and sold Kaarl a mysterious hot, pulsating black book for 200 gold, while Bob and Thrain bickered over charity gold in front of the merchant prince.”
