Darren wrestled with his identity as the wolf seal's bearer and, after Deacon's pointed question, chose to keep the seal and pray to David, receiving a scripture in his room that Azquireth and Deacon deciphered into a hidden cipher pointing toward 'where priests go to drown.' Orion Musk visited and was subtly tested for church loyalty, ultimately asked to protect Elena and safeguard hidden documents if the brothers fall. Azquireth and Darren performed a ritual using Darren's Sanguine-Eclipse death-state to scry the city from the spirits' upside-down perspective, locating a safehouse and a colossal fiend near the Ruby District crack. The party then received a haul of magic gear from Ajahir (a cannon, sentinel shield, candle flame bow, demon skin armor, iron bands of Bilaro), struck a tense alliance with Killian while trading intel and a bag of holding for 8,000 gold, and ended the session marching toward the Grand Cathedral as the Frigid Moon rose over the city in a wave of killing cold.”
